Phoenix Mercury to host “Rock the Pink Night” supporting breast health awareness

PHOENIX, AZ — The Phoenix Mercury will celebrate their annual “Rock the Pink Night,” on Wednesday, Aug. 28 at the Footprint Center. The event, held during their game against the Minnesota Lynx, is dedicated to raising awareness and funds for breast health.

The evening will include tributes to breast cancer fighters, survivors, and their support networks. Following the game, a special on-court auction will feature player-worn and autographed memorabilia from Mercury stars like Diana Taurasi, Brittney Griner, Kahleah Copper, and Natasha Cloud. All proceeds from the auction will be donated to the American Cancer Society.

An online auction, currently live and running until midnight on Wednesday, Aug. 21, offers fans the chance to bid on unique Mercury apparel. Donations can also be made directly through the online platform, with proceeds benefiting the American Cancer Society.

The first 2,000 fans attending the game will receive a pink bucket hat, and exclusive “Rock the Pink” merchandise will be available for purchase in the Team Shop.

Tickets for the game and in-person auction are available at phoenixmercury.com/single-game-tickets.

This event provides a meaningful opportunity for fans to support breast health initiatives while enjoying a night of basketball with the Phoenix Mercury.
