Arizona Diamondbacks Reveal New Uniforms for 2024

By Jim Marshall

PHOENIX, AZ – The Arizona Diamondbacks Reveal new uniforms. After an unexpected run to
capture the 2023 National League pennant, they have an all-new uniform set with
updated colors and logos. The uniforms give a nod to the team’s history while
 looking to the future.

“The 2024 Arizona Diamondbacks uniforms will feature the return of retro
elements in a bold new fashion with a nod towards tradition,” stated President
Derrick Hall in the team’s press release. “They were designed with
feedback from our avid fan base via surveys and focus groups, whose love for
the Teal combined with Sedona Red makes it uniquely authentic to the Grand
 Canyon State.”

Home Primary Colors

The team’s standard home primary colors are Sedona Red and Teal. The move to
more Teal began last year, when the team went to white, Black, and Teal home
jerseys and away from the red hats as the primary look at Chase Field.

Their
main home jersey for 2024 sees a return to the classic off-white color of the
1998 Diamondbacks team. It features baseball piping and the return of the “A”
logo to the home uniform. The “A” is Sedona Red, outlined in Teal. The
snake head adorns one sleeve, while the other features the sponsor logo (Avnet).
The jersey will have the off-white baseball pants.

As far as the caps, there
will be one in Sedona Red with a Black brim. The other will feature a Black
cap with a Black brim. Both caps feature the same Teal-outlined “A” logo in
 Sedona Red

On the Road

On the road, players will wear a gray color scheme featuring the arched
“Arizona” word-mark in Sedona Red outlined in Teal across the front of the
jersey. As with the other jerseys, a snake head is on one sleeve, the Avnet logo
on the other. The uniform will feature the Road Gray pants, and the Black cap
featuring a Sedona Red brim. The familiar “D” logo — a throwback to the
 original — adorns the cap.

Other Designs

The Arizona Diamondbacks reveal new uniforms and for the 2024 season it
will feature “alternate” jersey designs. There will be one in Sedona Red and
one in Black. Both will feature the snake head and Avnet logo on the sleeves.

The Sedona Red-colored jersey is paired with the Road Gray or the Off-White pants.
It will feature “Diamondbacks” in Black across the front of the jersey. The
player’s number will be in Teal. The jerseys will be paired with two cap styles. The
Black “D” logo cap with a Sedona Red brim or an all-Sedona Red cap with the
 throwback “D” logo.

The Black uniform, ever popular with players and fans alike, will also be on
display for the 2024 season. The updated Black jerseys feature the Sedona Red
“A” outlined in Teal. This time around the Black jersey features a unique and
lively, Teal-colored baseball piping. The Black jersey can be fitted with
Off-White or Road Gray pants and with the all-Black cap with an “A” logo

Only Fourth Color Change

This is only the fourth color-scheme change in their history. Their original colors were purple, black, teal, and copper. The colors were popular with fans and worn in different uniform designs through the 2006 season. For the 2007 season Sedona Red, Sonoran Sand, and Black became the standard colors. The Teal color was eliminated but did return in 2016. However, this season, the team is discontinuing the Sonoran Sand color and featuring more Teal.

High-Performance Fabric

The high-performance fabric from recycled polyester yarns dries faster and
allows for more stretch. This will increase the mobility and fit of the uniforms.
Moisture-wicking Dri-Fit ADV technology means athletes stay cool all game long.

Availability for Fans

The Arizona Diamondbacks reveal new uniforms and currently a limited supply
is on sale now. They are available for purchase at the Chase Field Team Shop in
downtown Phoenix. Expect more to be available when Spring Training comes around the second week of February.
