PHOENIX, AZ — The NBA, WNBA, and FIBA hosted the second Basketball Without Borders (BWB) Global girls camp, featuring 40 of the top high school-age basketball prospects from around the world. This camp was part of the WNBA All-Star 2024 festivities in Phoenix, which took place from Friday, July 19 to Sunday, July 21.
The camp was be led by Allison Feaster, a former WNBA player and current Vice President of Team Operations & Organizational Growth for the Boston Celtics. Feaster was joined by former WNBA and FIBA players and coaches, including Edniesha Curry, Shey Peddy, April Sykes, and Kelly Raimon (Schumacher), who are all participants in the WNBA Coaches Development Program.
Basketball Without Borders, a global basketball development and community outreach initiative, has impacted over 4,400 participants from 142 countries and territories since its inception in 2001. Notable alumni include Kamilla Cardoso (Chicago Sky; Brazil; BWB Global 2019), Aaliyah Edwards (Washington Mystics; Canada; BWB Global 2019), Ezi Magbegor (Seattle Storm; Australia; BWB Asia 2016), Jade Melbourne (Washington Mystics; Australia; BWB Global 2020), and Nika Muhl (Seattle Storm; Croatia; BWB Europe 2018 & BWB Global 2019).

PHOENIX, AZ — La NBA, la WNBA y la FIBA organizarán el segundo campamento global de Basketball Without Borders (BWB) para niñas, que contará con 40 de las mejores prospectos de baloncesto de secundaria de todo el mundo. Este campamento, que forma parte de las festividades del WNBA All-Star 2024 en Phoenix, se llevará a cabo del viernes 19 al domingo 21 de julio.
El campamento será dirigido por Allison Feaster, exjugadora de la WNBA y actual Vicepresidenta de Operaciones del Equipo y Crecimiento Organizacional para los Boston Celtics.
